West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Reads like I won't have to worry about whoreing myself out because the railroads deforested almost every acre I farm and sold the hardwood to developers in Minneapolis and St Paul back in the day. Then they sold the hilly "prime" farmland full of stumps, rocks, swamps, and potholes to my ancestors... nothing miles of tile over several lifetimes couldn't fix.
When Dutch elm disease killed all the piss elms in the 70's we did a little more deforesting and gained a few more acres of hilly, swampy "prime" farmland... nothing more tile couldn't fix.
