EC SD | I wanted to add some small caps to my portfolio, so went fishing last year by screening using fundamentals - including corporate debt, earnings growth, and free cash flow. Sifting through the screening outputs, I looked for companies with strong catalysts. I invested in POWL specifically because of the secular move toward electification of industrial processes which I feel they are well positioned for.
The AMR stock was different because I got that pick from a paid stock picking service that I subscribe to (two picks per month). I invest in well under half of their picks though, as I do a lot of fundamental research on top of their picks and also look at technicals for a good entry point before investing. I do like the service as an idea generator and it has been a good return for me... | |
