Can someone give me a good reason to buy 4.50 puts for new crop corn ? This would be to cover actual production…Cost would be around 25 cents . It seems kind of expensive.
If we continue to get weaker we will be lead by old crop. If comfortable consider buying cheaper shorter dated puts against March or May
Use money you save to buy a later put at a higher strike should we go up
Or cash out with profits if we go down? |
