Grain Prices were actually decent/good in the early 80’s. It was the interest that hit everyone and the certain areas that had production issues that led to the tough times. It wasn’t until after the 85 crop was seen to be big that corn prices fell out of bed. Those areas without big production issues and low loan values did ok. After 1985 prices fell below COP.
You do have the option to go to the TPP section to get all political and where actual history doesn’t matter.
