I use vinegar and raw onions in bean soup and/or ham hock and beans. Corn bread works great for me as well. You can buy vinegar in a bottle filled with small yellow peppers as well…ups the “zip”. I think pickled beets (I love them, we can them) in bean soup is a “souper” idea.
