I posted something for sale yesterday. Immediately got a message from a scammer. She wanted to call me. I told her that I didn't have the time. She then wanted to send me a code "to verify that I was real". I sent an alert to FB and deleted the conversation.
I don't have the messenger app on my phone. I only use messenger on my desktop. And once I figure out if I am dealing with a real buyer/seller, then I give them my phone number. | |
