C IL

Cancer risk from an environmental exposure perspective is broadly seen as burning down a fuse - frequency, duration, and severity of exposure multiplied together to determine some total amount of ‘fuse’ or total loading that would lead to cancer risk.  That is simplistically cumulative across all cancer exposures, so that is ozone from smog, UV radiation from tanning or sun, chemical exposure, lead paint exposure, and on and on.

So lots of folks are going to die from something else first, like sugar or lack of exercise or heart disease or falling out of a tree stand.

I am sure a lawyer and your individual doctor can look at it through an individual exposure lens, though.
