Subject: worms in southern grain sorghum

N FLA
We have grain sorghum, and we are at the university threshold for worms. We watched this full moon, and scouted today. Found about 2-3 worms per plant in the whorls, Very small, maybe 1/8-1/4." The UGA guide list many chemicals. Planning on using Karate, but wanted to get any advice. It should kill this group of worms, but there is no residual, right. Oh, I think they are earworm, but very tiny still.
