Central IL
I have some areas of lighter beans (some strips) that I am attributing to poor distribution of residue from the combine. The lighter beans seem to be in areas of heavier residue. There was more cover this spring and the soil stayed cooler longer causing these beans to be behind the entire year and they've just never caught up.

Maybe the scorcher weekend we have on tap will give them a boost.
