Plant analysis can be a troubling conundrom at times. Most plant analysis in this area is going to come back with Boron low, particularly in the sandier soils. As cool and wet as it was earlier in our area a lot of things were not normal, and plant sampling reflected that. However, once we got adequate rainfall (for a while there) the plant samples turned around fairly quickly. Sometimes you have to take the results with a grain of salt (weather conditions prior to sampling), then make your decision with that knowledge. I think the standards are probably as good as they ever were. It's just that many things influence what you see, and a trained eye can often take that into consideration. Then sometimes it is just a crapshoot no matter what.
