Can't find a moisture tester that can do green edible peas. They are browned down good except for a few little draws. BUT, they've had some moisture on them which has them "chewy " at this point. Anyone have any advice.

We use the little screw top 15 grain or whatever moisture testers sold by IH and JD. They are made by Farmex. We bought a new one $250-300 . Had 15 crops alright, problem was they were all southern crops so did me little good. I needed spring wheat, field pea , flax.
Took it back to the dealer and said "we can't use this thing, it does not have our crops in it" The IH dealer called farmex who said,"go to our web site and download the crops you need into the tester." Just a matter of connecting the computer cable to the tester port and your PC. download the crops you want, takes about 5 minutes. They(Farmex) are fairly accurate as long as you keep the test cup clean, especially important in oily crops. The newer ones have an improved cup that is easier to clean.
