Take a look at the freestyle libre 3.
Sensor about the size of a dime.
Suggest you put a cover over it, available
Many places. It links to a smart phone app.
Usually works with the newer apple and androids.
A cheap alternative is a referb apple se. If Verizon
has good coverage in your neck of the woods, look at
Visable wireless...$25 to $30 a month, unlimited text, talk, internet
that can be tethered...and referb apple phones on the modest
cost side. The libre 3 communicates with smart phone,
takes reading between every 1-5 minutes. Shows reading
On phone, and trend, also alarm when above or below your
set ranges. It will also send messages to other phones
When you exceeded the set limits.
Sensor life is 14 days
Price...costco $121 per Sensor
Walmart $75 per Sensor.
No transmitter needed.

As usual....do your own research...and consult your care
provider. This is a fairly new product, and dexcom has
been around in cgm circles.

Good luck !
