| Check it out on Cars.gov, an then go to a different dealer. After you make the deal you can come back to your first dealer and say....See..Diesel pickups DO qualify. I had a dealer tell me, without even looking anything up that my pickup couldn't be used on a trade for a car. this was before the final rules were made. But I never went back when I was ready to actually make the deal. I understand the rules are a bit vague but its pretty clear that a 12mpg pick up trading on a 25mpg car would qualify. If I was making my living selling cars i'd sure as heck done as much research as possible on what this program is all about. | |
