Subject: corn for ethanol

Would it be possible to use earlage for ethanol or high moisture milo that is cracked and then stored in ag bags and allowed to ensile? This would be a beautiful system as we could harvest high moisture crops and not be subject to longer weather risk during drydown. The moisture would be adjusted down to 14 or 15 percent but there would be no need for docks or drying charges. You could also have massive silos that would maybe be cheaper per bushel to build and maintain. There would not be a need to learn how to grow new crops and everyone could use existing equipment in the high moisture grain situation. The earlage would require choppers with kernal processors but that is not new technology. TIA
