Subject: Re: internet in the shop

Flat Rock, Indiana
I have a "g" router and can not get that kind of distance. I am trying to get internet from my house to my shop like Greasemonkey. My problem is not very many windows and a lot of metal siding. Tryed range extender and it helps but it won't get through to where I need it. Called Linksys and they said a WRT600N router would do it. Then I called Best Buy Geek Squad and they said it would not. The biggest router Best Buy has is WRT400N. Linksys web site has WRT610N. Do you think this might work or do you think the Geek Squad is right? I'll have the same issue as I have with my old router.
