Google is looking at your IP address (or, perhaps the IP address it sees from your ISP) and it will start there. Are you running a VPN? If you are, then Google gets the location of your ISP server, where it comes out on the 'net. For some ISP's that are using encapsulation, the same thing might happen. For us with Starlink, Google thinks we're in the Chicago area, because that's where the Starlink downlink side is located. |
