On your pipe corner:
- Did you fill the pipe with concrete?
- Did you weld any kind of tab or clip to keep the wire from sliding?
- What sizes of pipe did you use?
Thanks
I stuff an empty concrete sack down the pipe and leave about 6” and fill that with quickcrete mix for my pipe cap.
The only clips I use are on the outside posts and just get the busted chain links at the lumber yard when they cut chain for a customer. Pound them shut once wire is in. The wire is stretched so tight that I haven’t had cows move it when they get to rubbing real hard come spring.
This is 3 1/2” oil pipe cut 8ft 6” long and put 4ft in the ground. Takes about 4 60# bags to fill the hole. These things don’t move at all in my sandy wet ground. No way would I ever go back to wood. |
