There are apps that can do yaw, pitch, and roll i believe.
Basic is measuring off the seat base or pedals.
Edit. Go to chapter 5 that will tell you where you can put them.
I have usually put them on the floor by the right hand door with plugs pointed towards the rear.
Hell i have some with HD Velcro to the floor mat in the grooves and they never have bothered.
