| Welcome to Field IQ.
EDIT: I just remembered why it does it. It doesn't map until it measures flow either from a flow meter. If you have pressure stored in the booms from the sections being off it won't map until the Flowmaster starts moving again after the pressure bleeds off.
I've played with it over the years and eventually gave up. The acres and coverage is correct, it just maps stupidly I've found. If I REALLLLY wanted to (and never have) I believe you could screw with overlap distances and then adjust backwards with valve timing, but that would be a pain in the butt.
I just live with it.
I'm planting across an angled waterway now that the coverage map looks awful on (always does and has) but what's planted is spot on. Acres planted too will be correct.
I've always attributed it to poor Trimble engineering and never really seeing out in the field what they are programming for.
