There are a few of those sweep mounted drills around here and I agree. It is hard to get a good stand without going deep. Someone at the 3I show had an attatchment that you bolted under the sweep blade that would trench a groove for the seed to fall into instead of the seed just blowing out on flat ground. It seemed like a good idea to me but I never new anyone that tried it.
