In our gumbo guys build a set of scrapers to keep the mud out. They use 4x4 tubing and go across the bottom of the machine, then add a piece to go between the duals from the rear, angle it down just a little, and weld a point on it keeping it about 1" from the middle of the rim. They only run them in severe conditions.
