| Somewhere on the net is a Trimble document listing what drives work. Possibly a search through Google here will give the answer, I know it's been talked about before, but it has been a while, like years from my recollection (probably faulty).
They "say" 4gb MAX.
Old SanDisk ones are "supposed" to work best.
We have had good luck with our 10 year old Precision Planting thumb drives they gave us for updates to the Gen1 20/20's.
As best I could tell at the time, THESE:

"should" work as they are SanDisk 4gb units, however I purchased a few but have not tried them yet, that's on the list in the next 60 days.
I'm scared to death the old PP drives will fail someday.
DO NOT REMOVE THE THUMB DRIVE WITHOUT THE UNIT POWERED DOWN.
A huge no-no, if you didn't know that. | |
