I have an uncle who was a big hay broker back in the 80's. He was telling me how there were times back then when he was getting $120/ton. Last year we sold a lot for that out of the stack for that price and really felt we were cutting a fat hog. We ditched 300 acres of hay this year, looks like maybe the right move.
No hay in 2010?
