Tough Love is simply a matter of giving em choices....easiest choice you load of course such that they choose that choice vs the non appealing alternative choices.

The cynics perhaps call it child abuse....but then there's so many cynics in the USA tripping over each other they tend to have the word "money" mixed up before all other words, that children are about 20th down the list anyway.

Question I see coming up is this fall:
Since the H1N1 flu deal looks to be expanding and appears to be epidemic for schools this season.
The logical thing would be simply NOT have school for the upcoming school year, and the flu bug then dies because of no victim hosts for the bug.

MOST parents need to do some home schooling and spend time with their children rather than continued USA institutionalizations of said anyway.

As if the USA would turn out "stupider" by taking a year off school? I doubt it.

How many lives would be saved?

And a main issue is of course, with no available hosts, H1N1 itself dies out rather than expands.

Sadly the USA tends to be a "legaleze" society...do or follow whatever their leaders tell em...then they'll sue the schools for sick or dead kids. As stated it's all about money in the USA. The Kids many times just another tool used to get some dough...for the govt, for the supposed parents, for the supposed schools etc., and for sure for all the attrorneys, judges, social experts too.
