I have always liked blossoms but never did try to grow many.
Last year, as a fluke, several punkin plants grewe near the burn pile where we had tossed the kids old punkin's from Halloween 07. Heck, they got burned, mowed etc. and we picked all we could eat....................of course, you always miss a few. Last fall, we had 6 of the nicest volunteer punkins you could ask for.
