Bought a refurbished hp desk top.
Have quicken 2017 home & business on cd
Didn't realize newer computer didn't have cd drive.
Computer guy I bought it from moved my stuff but said I would have to put in my pass words. Couldn't get that to work. Uninstaller quicken and tried downloading quicken. Because my subscription had expired Sept 21, it told me to download a patch. Then it told me my data last used was on home & business instead of quicken deluxe. Not sure that is a problem for me or not. Get to a new screen that says something like enter pass word at the top but it is blank with no boxes to put in user name or pass word.
If I update, will it stop working at the end of the year?
I have absolutely no interest in downloading statements. Did that once, never again. Totally screwed up my already entered catagories
Is there any other program I can buy that I can download my quicken files to and won't force me into a subscription based format?
