SW MN		I had a similar instance. Guy ran a stop sign totaled my pickup. His insurance had a 25000 limit. My insurance paid me 65000 for my pickup and have never heard a word since. That’s why we have underinsured coverage. Grinnel Mutual has been really good to me so far.
