Subject: On/off liquid fertilizer system

South Central MN
Pondering a project- I would like to build a simple in furrow liquid fertilizer system for applying Soygreen soybeans in IDC spots of a field. Would like to use a 12V pump and apply one rate. I would have a pressure valve and adjust the pressure manually to achieve the rate I want. I would like to be able to make a map of the IDC spots and and be able to turn the electric pump on when planting in those spots only. What would be the best way to control the pump? Have a Trimble FM 1000 in the tractor. Anyone built a similar system have tips? I've looked online at VRT systems for planter fertilizer but I don't need any rate control or flow monitors, just want something simple. Thank you.
