First thing to do is calibrate each lever to make sure it’s actually going to neutral and not actually engaging the other direction. But, most common cause would be the load check valves in the extend line. These are common points of failure. If the couplers were bad you’d have oil coming out around the hose or coming out of the drain hose going to the ground.
Not entirely accurate.
There are replaceable o-rings in the couplers that when worn out, will cause leakage externally. Or down through those little drain hoses.
But the cartridges themselves also go bad, and that leakage goes directly back into the transmission housing, and you never see it. |
