South Central, Minnesota | Bought some new decals at the JD dealer for my 3020 diesel for the side panels, I had put on the "3020" numbers and I went to eye in the "DIESEL" decal and noticed that the yellow on the two are very different. The "3020" looks like the correct shade of JD yellow but the "DIESEL" decal is much darker(almost getting to be orange). The parts guy assured me these were correct but I searched around on the net at some 3020's that were recently restored and all the ones I seen the two decals looked to be the same shade of yellow. WHen I put the decals next to each other it is pretty noticable and looks like crap. Is this the way they were originally or did JD change the colors somewhere along the way. Is there some aftermarket decals that do match better, is that what I am seeing on these other tractors? Anyone have experience with this? | |
