Middlesex County, Ontario | Last time I went dad and I were looking at something in one of the lines of equipment. Hadn’t talked to anyone, just pull in and drive through the aisles and find what you’re looking for. We found it and were looking at it.
An employee or the owner comes driving up on a clapped out old tractor, we think “oh here’s the owner, he’s come to talk to us to see if we need anything.” The guy doesn’t stop, turns on his 3pt orchard sprayer, douses us with what was hopefully just Round Up, continues down the line of equipment dousing everything to knock back the weeds. I guess we were looking right where he left off last tank.
Drove home and took a shower and haven’t been back.
I’d been a few times, always left mad at the wasted time. Everything is junk and everything is over priced. The place is like Farm Show magazine, it’s fun to look at it but only look at. There’s lots of interesting pieces of work out rusty niche equipment. |
