Subject: Sprayer controllers and hardware

Lisbon, OH
It's looking like I'm going to have to replace the spray controller and hardware on my sprayer. I currently have a Micro Trak MT5000, and sensors and components are NLA. Just got an email from Micro Trak, and they have nothing available. Not sure which way I want to go. I have been running the sprayer basically manually, but the controller is nice for knowing speed and spray rate and acres covered. My thought was to be able to set it back up automatically. I'm normally spraying less than 2oo acres a year, and usually around 100, so a huge investment is not going to return for me. And I don't mind piecing things together. I was also wondering if there is hardware available that I can use for GPS in addition to spray controller. My sprayer is currently only set up with 2 boom sections (55'). If I had the option to expand and not just use this equipment for spraying I may spend a little more on it.
