Camp Douglas Wi. 40miles nw of wi. dells | Just year ago this week, I bought new 3.0. Had 2012 5.3 LTZ crew with 130k miles with average 16.5 mpg, nephew bought it. New 1500 3.0 is LTZ crew also with 15k miles with average 26 mpg. I’d could get better mileage but have somewhat heavy foot, not beat the pickup but like getting up to hyway speed quick. Pull and haul light loads 10% of time.
Have a brother that has 1500 3.0 LTZ crew with about 20k miles. He’s average 30 mpg, but he really babies it.
I Also have 2019 1 ton dually crew Duramax for heavy pulling/hauling, ave 11 ish mpg, but hardly ever leaves the farm yard empty usely pulling heavy loads.
