I have Nest cams. I have had them for 3 or 4 years and they have to have 110 volt outlet close to plug them in. Good is no batteries to buy and the bad is you have to put them where there is an outlet. It works off your Wi-Fi router so no need to pay any fee to be able to see what's going on. I did have 1 camera freeze up and bust. Since then I have put all the cameras under an eave of a building and no problem since. You might look into a wired system because these and any other wireless can be jammed and made useless while they are robbing you. Good luck.
