Donnellson, IA. Makes saying here easier.
I rarely do anything under 7th gear. I just push in clutch and bump it up to 7th before I ever move when it's cold.
I'm not sure if it's possible on case ih transmission, but some can be changed to a different starting gear. Some via on board electronics, some take a tech.
