West Union, Illinois | bstorm - I am looking at accounting softwares as well being that farmworks is no longer supported. Look at Traction https://www.tractionag.com/. I think some of the folks involved years back in FarmWorks are there. I've glanced at it and Traction looks like a good package. I considered Traction but it's just my son in law and I now. I'm at the point if we make changes like that my son in law will have to do it.
I really liked FarmWorks, used FarmTrac for several years. But when I tried adding accounting I couldn't easily get it to work with our operation. There were multiple loose partners (4 partners each fully independent but throwing everything together. I might be driving A's tractor in B's field pulling C's disk, while D is planting in B's field with C's planter. But each person buys and pays for seed, fert, equipment ... except B & C order seed corn together while D buys from a different company. Try explaining that to a complex accounting program)
