The last peak in summer of 08 was followed by a 50% retracement in price before year end. Different set of circumstances in play today.
Everyone increased canola acres in Manitoba with a deduction in soy acres. That was a mistake as the weather favored soys. Soys yielded 60 to 80 across MB, canola didn't even make half that. Too tight rotations mainly to blame.
Needing the canola cash before seeding, I'd sell it all now.
