Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

GPS guy says, in our area, his customers are doing very, very well with Terrastar-C Pro (1"-3") and saving $2500-$3000 "unlock fees" by not going to the full blown RTK/ "X" level.

The advantage of TS-X is speed of convergence. It takes about 85-90 seconds from power-on to be fully converged. TS C Pro takes about 10 minutes to reach full convergence. Once there, both signals have essentially the same accuracy.
If you don't need the rapid convergence, you can skip the RTK unlock and use TS C Pro

I did asked about "convergence" and he mentioned that he never felt is was over 15 minutes.

I had read that TS-"X" had faster convergence times, also. (Didn't know it was/is as fast as you mentioned)

I feel, I could live with 10 minutes; with a little forward thinking.
