NW Washington | Moss on north side roofs is a common problem in our area. There are moss killers on the market. Amazon and Home Depot have moss killers. My neighbor used to just scatter powdered Tide laundry detergent on his roof but I am not sure how well that worked. The main ingredient in lawn moss killer is iron oxide and it smells like rust.
