My dads uncle Chris immigrated to US in the 1880´ies and helped establishing the Danish settlement Danevang.
I visited there in the 1960´ies when his son, H.D.Madsen, had taken over the farm.
The pics are from the farm. In one Chris is standing outside the house showing off his cotton harvest to a friend. Chris is at the right.
A couple pics show field work at the farm.
The last pic. is from building the road running right by the farm builings.
