Nothing unusual found, decided probably caused my eating my beef well done. Said that was a problem, especially when cooked over a  grill, grill gave off noxious fumes which became embedded in meat, could have caused my problem.

No problem since, but get regular colonoscopy . 



That was one hypothesis at that time. While it is true burnt food does have some carcinogens, research since does not support the idea that meat is the problem. Meat has also been blamed for kidney problems and that also turned out to not be the case. Science and knowledge marches forward. Current medical beliefs and dogma lag ten to twenty years before the knowledge gets incorporated broadly. Early adopters (both doctors and patients) benefit before the broad general public.

Kind of like farming. Early adopters of new beneficial discoveries benefit the most.
