North Central US | No, it was the episode where a robber on the run meets up with the train and is annoyed with the girl always bugging him and later befriends her and then tries to get her adopted and does convince a couple who recently lost a child to take her, just for the one in charge of the group of orphans to deny it, so the girl runs off, the robber and the one in charge of the orphans get in an argument that basically goes "if she will die, why not happy?" And then the robber goes after the girl who falls asleep and dies in his arms after asking him if she can have his last name to belong to someone.
The "now I lay me down to sleep" prayer is said alot throughout it. The only mention about her sickness is the one in charge of the orphans saying she must take many naps, not do anything strenuous, must not run or be active, or else when she goes to sleep, she might not wake up, thus the "say your prayers before you go to sleep, even for a nap" throughout the episode. | |
