Well, with a drought this year and it has been disked some, I would keep disking it. The soil will get very loose but if you can disk it every 10 days to 2 weeks it will kill all of the roots. I did this on a piece of pasture 5 years ago and there was no quack grass the following year and has been easy to control since then.
