You’re not alone. I’m in Nance County and haven’t hit a field yet making over 55. I just finished a pivot making around 45 average. A good friend of mine said his are similar or worse. Stem borer was horrible. Also I’m wondering if we were losing way too much moisture to evaporation when running the pivots in the heat of the day. I haven’t done any gravity irrigated yet, but just walking through them they should beat the pivot irrigated handily. I applied fungicide and insecticide at early pod set and made 11 circles with the pivot. So I think Mother Nature just got the better of us this year in Nebraska…….
