Windom, MN | Who had a good 915? We had one for a few years, and it was the second biggest piece of crap we've ever owned. I was really young when we got rid of it, but I remember my dad and grandpa just cussing about that machine. There are no 815s around here, they all started on fire, The 715 our neighbor had was a pretty good machine, but I don't know anyone who runs a 15 series IH around here anymore.
Bought a 1440 in 1983, and that was a great combine, just a little short on HP. It probably needed a turbo to make a little more power, but now we've had a 2166 for 11 years, and even that is getting small. | |
