Mid-Missouri | We have a one year old Tempte with air ride. I believe it to be a Ne-way system for some reason. Today we noticed the back left air bag sitting very crooked. It appears the bottom of the air bag to be made of plastic. It looks like a very poor design, especially after failing after one year and ~3000 miles. The bag is maybe 10 inches wide but the plastic base that stabilizes it is about 4 inches wide. The plastic bottom was blown out on one side, causing the bag to be extended fully on the back. By time the trailer got home, the air bag blew. I am not looking forward to finding out how good the warranty is now that it is slightly over a year old. Any reason for this? | |
