Dad fed cows through the winter with a JD stack feeder, 3 chains driven by a hydraulic motor. PTO drove the cutter head. Fed the big stacks (from a Hesston 60) and pulled with the 5010. Like someone else said, getting through snow was the only problem I ever remember.
We tried moving round bales with it once, it didn't work so well with only three drive chains.
