Depends on the tractor and the tires. If it's not going to be a parade job and the main goal is to get the paint on the rim, I use a cheapo air paint sprayer and turn the air way down when painting around the bead and you'll get alot less overspray. Basically turn both knobs to almost zero, then gradually turn the paint knob up till you get a pattern about an inch or two wide. I've tried masking and it's too time consuming for me, so i tried some light grease or oil on the tire. What overspray there is will just stick to the grease and come off when you wash it after the paint has dried. I just did about a 4" wide strip and it caught most of it. Cornstalks will take care of any small amout of overspray that got past that. Good luck....
