SE Iowa | I have been sticking to the plan of incremental sales keeping seasonals in mind. So far it was the right decision but I am now I’m in a hard place. I would have liked to extended even further the last few weeks but with no rain here and an absolute soaking North if I-80 (the only place that really matters in Iowa) I have to sit back and just watch these markets until my weather changes… praying for a rain in SE Iowa. Lets face it though for the majority of Iowa the corn crop is made on the deep soils North of 80 hence why I think the market has very little upside potential given the current forecast.
