I just NT drilled Siberian foxtail millet yesterday. A one cutting deal here. Have never done this before, but had an alfalfa field accidentally sprayed with 24D and did this as an "emergency" measure. Albert Lea Seed recommended it for my situation. The Siberian foxtail version of millet is supposed to be finer and easier to get put up as dry hay, which is a feature I asked for.

The Albert Lea Seed site has a lot of information and options to look at. A phone call was worty it to talk to some one with long experience advising farmers about war season forage options. Quite a ways north of your location though.
